Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reentry Coordinator to join our team at the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR). As a Reentry Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the reintegration of offenders into their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct reentry-related sessions and classes with inmates in Adult Recovery Team meetings
  • Serve as a point of contact for new arrivals at intake
  • Assist with treatment and discharge planning
  • Maintain contact with all participants that are released and provide community outreach
  • Provide overall management of reentry-related services and activities
  • Meet and assist with community stakeholders, non-profit organizations, and faith-based communities to educate, develop, and implement programs and services to meet the needs of releasing inmates
  • Complete reentry clinical paperwork, reports, and program trackers as necessary
  • Attend meetings as requested
  • Drive on State business
  • Perform other duties appropriate to the assignment
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of evidenced-based reentry strategies
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local reentry websites, publications, release housing, and employment restrictions
  • Knowledge of governmental, private, and faith-based services and programs statewide
  • Knowledge of adult learning processes
  • Knowledge of ADCRR best practices, policies, and procedures
  • Knowledge of security practices
  • Knowledge of personal computer and various software including, Microsoft Office and Google suites
  • Knowledge of professional English, grammar, and spelling
  • Skill in written and verbal communication
  • Skill in coalition building
  • Skill in data analysis
  • Skill in interpretation of rules and laws
  • Skill in group presentation and training
  • Skill in motivational interviewing
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships
  • Skill in organization and time management
  • Skill in active listening, coaching, and interviewing
  • Skill in collecting and maintaining accurate data, documents, and records
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of reentry service experience
  • Two (2) years working in a correctional setting
  • Previous case management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in social work
