Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our team, working in concert with radiologists to obtain high-quality ultrasound images and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Operate various types of x-ray equipment, adapting to new and different situations and procedures as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all patients.
  • Collaborate with the team to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, delivering quality care to all patients, regardless of background or need.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED, required. Graduate of an AMA-approved RT program.
  • Experience: One year of experience in sonography, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: ARRT and/or ARDMS certified or board eligible, required. ARDMS certification within the first year of employment, required.
  • Additional skills: Ability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing, good communication skills, and working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment.
