Job Title: Psychiatrist

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to provide high-quality psychiatric services at a facility in Phoenix, Arizona.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment regimens, and provide medical treatment and diagnostic programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct professional medical and physical examinations on patients.
  • Make diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment regimens.
  • Make electronic entries in patient medical records.
  • Attend hospital meetings and onsite patient court hearings.
  • Administer medical treatment and diagnostic programs.
  • Apply prior knowledge and training to unusual and varied medical and/or psychiatric conditions.
  • Provide coverage for day Officer of the Day (OD) calls and respond to emergency calls and treatment(s).
  • Direct work of professional staff and work effectively with fellow medical staff and treatment team members.
Requirements:
  • Active AZ license.
  • BC/BE.
  • BLS.
  • DEA license.
  • Minimum 2 years experience.
