Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide exceptional care to post-acute residents in our facilities. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification, with demonstrated knowledge of nursing care procedures and clinical terminology. This individual must be detail-oriented and able to effectively communicate with medical professionals, residents, and family members. The ideal candidate will also possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships based on trust and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent nursing care to post-acute residents, including supporting basic activities of daily living (ADLs) and protecting resident health and safety
  • Assist with transportation and movement of residents around the facility as needed, ensuring their comfort and well-being
  • Document and report resident vital signs and update the nursing team on physical and mental conditions
  • Engage with residents through meaningful interactions, promoting a sense of security and trust

Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing care procedures and clinical terminology
  • Detail-oriented communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with medical professionals, residents, and family members
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents
