The City of New York is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Health Nurse III to join our team in the Office of School Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of nurses, advisors, and assistants, and providing clinical supervision to ensure the highest level of care for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of nurses, advisors, and assistants
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to ensure high-quality care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Participate in recruitment and orientation of new staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public health nursing, with a focus on school health
