Senior Sales Director for Northeast Territory

We've grown into a company with 10 manufacturing facilities, 19 commercial offices, and a team of around 2000 employees serving customers in 40 countries. With our US Office now established, we're expanding our presence and looking for a talented individual to lead our sales efforts in the Northeast territory.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new distributors, building strong relationships, and converting quotes into sales. You'll work closely with our engineering team to provide solutions that meet customer needs. Our technology is cutting-edge, lead times are competitive, and commission plans are uncapped - you just need to bring your hunter mentality and technical aptitude.
The ideal candidate resides in New Jersey or the Greater Philadelphia, PA area, but we're open to considering other central locations. As our Senior Sales Director, you'll:
- lead the complete chain of sales activities, from proposals to closing orders
- initiate business opportunities with new and existing distributors
- travel 35-50% within the assigned territory
- create and present solutions to customers, focusing on closing the order
- work consultatively to offer solutions with a strong value proposition
- drive internal development of solutions, specifying and requesting internal and external calculations
- lead and coordinate focused sales & marketing efforts geographically and product-specifically
- train distributor sales and technical staff in close collaboration with our technical backup/product management team
- participate in local and corporate trade shows
- assist with monthly and yearly forecasting/reporting
To succeed in this role, you'll require:
- 5+ years of sales experience within the material handling industry
- Established distributor network experience is preferred, but not required
- Technical aptitude
- Hunter and Farmer mindset
- Willingness to travel within the territory 35-50%
- Ability to communicate with clients at various levels of an organization
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year based on location and experience.
