About the Role

As a dedicated Occupational Therapist, you will be working with individuals to help them achieve their maximum level of independence in daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists.
  • Design and implement individualized therapy services, incorporating therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions to enhance functional capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress, tracking successes and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, demonstrating empathy and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Location and Compensation

Ridgeway, Alaska offers a unique blend of natural beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities. The estimated annual salary for this position is $73,000 - $95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
