Job Summary

Cape Fox Shared Services is seeking a qualified Site Superintendent to manage day-to-day project site activities, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring project progress. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of technical communications and business files, monitoring and reporting schedule variances, and recommending corrective actions.

This position reports to the assigned Project Manager and will work primarily within the Southern United States. The Site Superintendent will supervise the day-to-day work of the crew and subcontractors, prioritize work for the project duration, and ensure compliance with contract documents, safety rules, and quality/security requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day project site activities, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring project progress.
  • Ensure the maintenance of technical communications and business files.
  • Monitor and report schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Supervise the day-to-day work of the crew and subcontractors.
  • Prioritize work for the project duration and ensure compliance with contract documents, safety rules, and quality/security requirements.
Requirements
  • Active or be able to successfully complete "Construction Quality Management" certification from the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, be flexible, cooperative, and take initiative.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, plan, be resourceful, and well organized.
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and be polite and professional with the general public.
Work Environment

The Site Superintendent will work primarily within the Southern United States, supporting construction efforts on U.S. Government contracts at military installations. The work will involve considerable travel and fieldwork, and the employee can be exposed to dangerous or stressful situations.
