Job OverviewAs a Fire Rescue Specialist with the City of Ferndale, you will be part of a highly qualified team of emergency response professionals. The Fire Rescue is a full-service emergency response organization, providing fire rescue, EMS services, Advanced Life Support transport, full response Hazardous Materials, and fire education, prevention, inspection, and investigation.
Our team serves the City of Ferndale, as well as select services to the communities of Pleasant Ridge and Royal Oak Township.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency calls and provide fire rescue services
- Provide EMS services, including Advanced Life Support transport
- Participate in fire education, prevention, inspection, and investigation
