Your Role

As an early childhood educator at KinderCare, you will be responsible for implementing our curriculum in a way that caters to the unique needs of each child. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow, and partner with parents to ensure they receive the best possible care and education for their children.

You will also support your center's success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. Additionally, you will cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or willing to obtain
  • Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation and benefits to attract and retain top talent. Our estimated salary range for this position is $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer discounted child care benefits, medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family, employee assistance programs, and health and wellness programs.

In addition to these benefits, we offer a robust tenure-based pay model that begins at 1 year of service for qualified individuals. This means that as you grow and develop with us, your compensation will increase accordingly.
