Certified Practical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Genesis HealthCare in Las Cruces. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients/residents, administering medications, and contributing to nursing assessments and care planning. You will also supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional care.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe conditions, and report changes in condition
- Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning
- Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders
- Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing
- Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility
