Logistics Operations Specialist

Supernal is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to oversee all aspects of shipping, receiving, storing, and issuing products. This role includes maintaining accurate records for inventory control, fixed assets, and inventory management.
About the Role
The Logistics Operations Specialist will be responsible for preparing reports to support Test and Evaluation Programs and ensuring that safety protocols are followed. The successful candidate will also report quality metrics to other members of the management team to ensure that all operations are running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Solutions:
- Create, implement, and maintain logistics solutions
- Notify purchasing of obsolete items, missing or quantities nearing stock-out
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory stock location files and audit programs
- Maintain a material-issued log and ensure the right components are distributed to production
Tool and Equipment Management:
- Ensure that the tools and equipment in the tool rooms are calibrated at appropriate intervals
Procurement and Supply Chain:
- Procure supplies, consumables, hardware, support equipment, and other miscellaneous items for all functions in Test Evaluation and Certification
Travel and Compliance:
- Up to 25% of domestic and international travel
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory, company, and industry processes and standards
Requirements
- GED or High School diploma required; college degree preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in aerospace logistics solutions
- Experience managing aerospace logistics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
- Proficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite
Compensation and Benefits
$52-$62 USD per hour. Benefits and compensation may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Supernal is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
