Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will coordinate the work of electrical engineers and designers on large institutional/industrial projects. You will establish client relations, participate in marketing, design, and production meetings, and conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites. You will also track financial aspects of projects and coordinate workload to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis

Professional Engineer (PE) license

Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)

Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting, and signal design, including life safety systems and building management systems

Revit experience required

Strong computer skills, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and electrical design software

Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm desired

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED

Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm

Familiarity with Revit MEP
