Job Summary

The District Sales Manager will be responsible for selling medical devices and related equipment and services to physicians, hospitals, and outpatient facilities in the greater Philadelphia area, Eastern PA, and Southern NJ.

This role requires establishing relationships with healthcare providers, developing new business, and expanding existing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the managed healthcare environment and be able to educate customers through conversations, presentations, and literature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an annual business plan for the territory
  • Meet and exceed projected sales goals
  • Participate in national, state, and regional sales exhibits
  • Maintain timely expense reports
  • Keep current on the managed healthcare environment
  • Educate customers through conversations, presentations, and literature

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in problem solving and working independently
  • Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast-paced situations

Physical Requirements:

  • Subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA, must be physically capable of operating a motor vehicle on a regular basis
  • Frequently lift product sample cases, weighing between 20 and 50 lbs.
