Overview:

HireRight is seeking a seasoned Senior Scrum Master & Agile Coach to join our Agile Center of Excellence (COE). This role will serve as both a Scrum Master and Agile Coach for multiple Agile Delivery Teams, comprised of Software Engineers, QA Test Engineers, Product Owners, and Product Managers.

The ideal candidate will lead all Scrum ceremonies, create necessary artifacts, and ensure teams follow Agile practices and Scrum framework values. They will also work to increase team efficiency, provide motivation and guidance for process improvement, and guide teams and individuals in adopting and implementing our Agile Model.

This role requires expertise in Agile principles, practices, and frameworks, with a strong focus on Scrum and Kanban. The successful candidate will drive Agile adoption and transformation within teams and organizations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and optimizing team performance.


Responsibilities:
~ Facilitate Agile delivery using Scrum principles and methodologies
~ Work with Product Aligned Teams to facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
~ Create necessary Scrum artifacts, including product backlogs and sprint plans
~ Help track features and capabilities throughout development
~ Assist with Quarterly Program Increment (PI) planning across teams
~ Help teams with feature and story estimation and the aggregation of estimates for larger pieces of work
~ Monitor progress and performance, and help teams make improvements
~ Train, mentor, and support Scrum teams in following Agile values, principles, and practices
~ Plan and organize demos and product/system testing
~ Facilitate retrospective sessions
~ Work closely with Product Managers to ensure clear Minimum Viable Product (MVP) understanding
~ Provide expert coaching and guidance on Agile principles, values, and frameworks
~ Design and deliver customized Agile training programs to address specific needs and challenges
~ Coach and train Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Development Teams in alignment with Agile COE on our Practical Agile Model
~ Identify and address impediments hindering Agile adoption, and help teams overcome challenges by implementing appropriate Agile practices and techniques
~ Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encourage experimentation, and facilitate a learning environment
~ Work with Product Aligned Teams on Metrics creation and analysis to steer coaching needs based on delivery system performance
~ Assess Agile maturity levels of teams and organizations, and develop roadmaps for improvement as we roll out our Practical Agile Model across the organization

Qualifications:
~ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
~ 5+ years of experience leading Agile teams as Scrum Master or Product Owner roles
~ Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Agile Coach, or similar role in a fast-paced, Agile environment
~ Deep understanding of Agile principles, values, and methodologies, with expertise in Scrum and Kanban
~ Proven experience driving Agile adoption and transformation within teams and organizations
~ Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to guide individuals and teams through challenging situations and foster collaboration
~ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
~ Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to influence and inspire others towards Agile practices and mindsets
