Patient Care Support Representative

The Patient Care Support Representative plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient allocation of supplemental staff to patients across the health system. This position assists the Staffing Nurse or Clinical Administrator in managing the allocation of staff to meet the needs of patients with priority safety issues.
This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a call center, staff scheduling, medical office, or customer service setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the allocation of supplemental staff to patients
- Manage staff scheduling systems and communicate with staff
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in a call center, staff scheduling, medical office, or customer service setting
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Prolonged sitting
- Strong recall and reasoning skills
- Able to handle multiple priorities and adapt to frequent change
Work Environment:
