Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center in Oregon. This is a full-time leadership role that involves coordinating and managing clinical support staff and workflows within the clinic.

About the Role:

The Clinical Staff Supervisor functions as an integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing a professional nursing perspective to the group and upholding the standards of nursing practice. This position oversees the care provided by clinical support staff and initiates efforts to improve quality and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage clinical support staff
  • Oversee patient care services
  • Ensure compliance with established clinic policies and procedures
  • Initiate efforts to improve quality and skill levels

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire for locations in Washington
  • 3 years direct patient care experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting
  • 1 year supervisory experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting
  • Clinical experience in triage principles of patient assessment
  • Experience in delegation of nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel
