Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, Virginia.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse on our Medical Surgical Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in patient and family education, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligible for licensure.
  • More than 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider AHA.
  • Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
