At Washington Radiology, we are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures with precision and care.
Responsibilities:
* Perform MRI procedures as prescribed by physicians
* Instruct patients on proper physiological requirements for procedures
* Ascertain patient safety and suitability for MRI procedures
* Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging
* Administer contrast media and assist patients during procedures
* Maintain accurate records and process exam-related information
* Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school
* Registration in MR within one year of employment
* Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation within 90 days of employment
* State licensure in Maryland and Virginia
* Ability to lift and move patients as required

* Competitive hourly rate: $35.00 to $50.00 commensurate with experience
* Additional $2/hr evening stipend after 5:30pm
