Compensation Range:

$86,465.6 - $106,080 per year.

Job Description:

The Clinical Mental Health Program Director provides clinical and administrative oversight for the Mental Health program and the Mental Health staff within the facility. This role involves consultation regarding the mental health program, clinical supervision, and direction to Mental Health Professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, manage, supervise, and coordinate clinical services for mental health staff, ensuring compliance with policies, accreditation standards, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Provide clinical supervision, professional education, and staff development, including training, on-boarding, and disciplinary counseling.
  • Oversee and implement evidence-based treatment programs, mental health treatment planning, activity therapy, and substance use disorder programs.
  • Collaborate with the site Psychiatrist for crisis intervention oversight, review clinical service reports, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance with facility standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in social work, clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited college or university required. Doctorate preferred.
  • Experience in the coordination and administration of mental health service delivery systems.
  • Significant coursework and professional experience in the mental health field that indicates knowledge of management and supervision techniques, peer review, quality assurance, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders, and psychological evaluation techniques.
  • Licensed in the state of employment by the appropriate state licensing board.
