We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Accompaniment Specialist to join our team at Eliot, a leading social service nonprofit in Massachusetts. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing supportive interventions to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with individuals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, focusing on problem-solving, skills training, and behavioral modeling.
  • Assist in ongoing assessments of symptoms and responses to interventions, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
  • Participate in the development of treatment plans that prioritize recovery, rehabilitation, and cultural competence.
  • Support individuals in achieving their goals, promoting independence, and accessing community resources.
  • Provide transportation assistance to work sites, daily activities, and appointments, ensuring seamless support.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Prior experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness (ideally)
