Clinical Supervisor, Registered Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab, Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, assessing current patient care situations, priorities, and needs. You will also be responsible for performing all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
Responsibilities- Provides direct and indirect patient care as necessary, assessing current patient care situations, priorities, and needs.
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
- Communicates appropriately and clearly to Nurse Director, co-workers, and physicians.
- Assists director/manager with staff education and competency evaluation. Maintains documentation of these activities. Ensures staff participation in in-service programs.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Nevada.
- Current POC Certification within 90 days.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification (or must obtain within 6-months).
- Cath Lab/IR experience required.
- Willing to take call/standby.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing required or enrolled in an accredited program within one-year of employment or transfer into supervisory role.
