We're seeking a skilled and resourceful Paralegal to join our Legal Department as a vital member of our team. Reporting to Figure's Senior Corporate Paralegal, you will support all aspects of our fast-growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and provide commentary on a variety of legal documents, including NDAs, vendor contracts, and corporate documents
- Collaborate with teams across the business to support the drafting, review, and execution of a wide array of legal documents
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including efficiently routing documents for signatures, cataloging executed contracts into a document database, and tracking contract statuses
- Oversee the maintenance of a legal filing system, managing the retention and organization of electronic and paper documents
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Legal Department and internal stakeholders, addressing questions and issues and fielding them to the appropriate parties
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of paralegal or related experience
- Strong organizational skills, with an emphasis on managing time, documents, projects, and relationships
- Extreme attention to detail, ability to adjust on the fly, problem-solving skills, intellectual maturity, business acumen, and a great attitude
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Database management experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced growing company
Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated Salary: $95,000 per annum (based on location and experience)
