About the Opportunity

The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is seeking a qualified Clinical Forensic Psychologist to join our faculty team. As a member of our Clinical Forensic Psychology department, you will be responsible for teaching courses related to the practice of clinical forensic psychology, mentoring and advising graduate students, and contributing to curriculum design and departmental development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach courses related to the practice of clinical forensic psychology in our graduate programs.
  • Mentor and advise graduate students.
  • Contribute to curriculum design and departmental development that is consistent with the mission and strategic plan.
  • Monitor student learning outcomes and progress.
  • Serve on dissertation committees as a Chair or member.
  • Interact and communicate successfully with a diverse population.
  • Engage in service-learning with faculty and students.
  • Participate in outreach activities with community partners.
  • Attend department faculty meetings, clinical program faculty meetings, and other meetings as required.
  • Facilitate and engage in student recruitment activities.
  • Act in a way that embodies the mission, vision, and values of The Chicago School.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Clinical or Forensic Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the state of California (must be licensed within two years of employment).
  • Evidence of teaching experience at the graduate level.
