Job Summary

Rosecrance Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Services Specialist to join our team at the Rosecrance Mulberry Center in Rockford, IL. As a key member of our health services team, you will play a vital role in providing continuity of program services and ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise addicted clients and provide a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Assist with client admissions and discharges
  • Verify medications and conduct health history/assessments
  • Transcribe orders and assist with vital signs assessments
  • Provide follow-up communication and monitor client response to medication
  • Act as an advocate for clients and report concerns to medical and clinical staff
  • Supervise and manage client behavior and provide behavioral interventions
  • Facilitate communication between clinical and medical staff
  • Assist with unit tech responsibilities and provide client education
  • Document client progress and schedule follow-up medical appointments
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum CNA, CMA, or EMT certification or currently enrolled in program for RN or LPN
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid training complete within three months
  • Skilled in behavioral management techniques
  • Ability to lead discussion and educational presentations
  • Valid Illinois driver's license
