About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients
  • Manage efficient flow of patient care, including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing and discharges
  • Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans
  • Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, which may include phone triage when needed

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which you practice, and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required
