Overview
Norman Regional Health System has established a reputation for excellence in healthcare. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Technologist to join our team and contribute to the expansion of our cardiovascular services.

We are committed to providing exceptional patient care and have recently moved into a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower. Our facility features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Our institution has received numerous awards and accreditations, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, the American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, the Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and the American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.

Job Summary
The ideal candidate will prepare and maintain equipment before and during procedures, identify and assess patient conditions, and provide essential patient care while maintaining a sterile environment. Additionally, the successful candidate will serve as a preceptor for new staff members, participate in the orientation of new personnel, and establish strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology, eligibility for registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and/or current RCIS certification. Previous procedural area experience is preferred. The selected candidate will also need to complete all competencies listed in department policy within six months and achieve Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training prior to providing patient care. Current BLS certification is required and must be maintained through re-training throughout employment. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
