Job Description

MPE is seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter/Technical Documentation Specialist to create customized equipment designs and technical documentation for customers. This individual will work closely with the sales team and project managers to develop 2D and 3D models of integrated systems, from concept to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create 2D and 3D models of equipment designs using 2D and 3D software.
  • Communicate with the sales team to understand customer requirements.
  • Work with project managers to develop and document project requirements.
  • Use engineering skills to develop unique designs in an R&D setting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two-year degree in mechanical drafting or design, or four-year engineering degree.
  • Experience with 3D modeling (Solidworks preferred) and 2D modeling (AutoCAD preferred).
  • Ability to learn technical concepts related to MPE's products and applications.
  • Collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
