About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team, providing exceptional patient care under the direction of nursing staff. As a key member of our unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring patient safety, and promoting a positive hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct and indirect patient care services, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, or changing linens
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, peers, and other healthcare members to optimize successful customer outcomes and maximize unit function
  • Participate in precepting new team members and orienting patients to hospital routines
  • Attend unit committees or educational peer opportunities to improve quality and engagement
  • Document patient care in a timely manner and participate in unit quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a safe environment by complying with Northern Light Health policies and procedures, reporting hazards and violations of patient safety policy and protocol

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to lift, move, and load 30 to 50 pounds, and work alternate shift schedules.
