Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the execution of construction projects in our Transmission & Distribution global practice.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely completion within budget.

About the Role:

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity based in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost management, project scheduling, and coordination with stakeholders, including owners, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Develop and implement project execution plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies
  • Maintain detailed project records, including cost forecasts, accruals, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless handovers and meet client expectations
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to address concerns and resolve issues
  • Contribute to the development of project policies, procedures, and controls to improve overall project delivery

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field; master's degree may be substituted for one year of experience
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in project management, with a focus on construction execution
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and controlling costs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and understand substation construction drawings, one lines, three lines, general layouts, transmission plans, and profiles
  • Valid driver's license required

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
