Job Summary:

">

We are seeking a Regional HSE Manager to promote and enforce our corporate Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) program. The ideal candidate will provide safety support to construction operations and mentor regional site safety professionals in a collaborative team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

">
  • Enforce all corporate safety policies and procedures to ensure adherence to the top core value - Safety first in all work.
  • Assist the HSE Department in managing the corporate safety program by tracking and reporting on safety activities, including accident/incident reports, audits, and orientations.
  • Respond to critical activities, crisis events, and OSHA, FRA, & NTSB inspections and investigations as the regional safety representative.
  • Assist in work planning and development of job hazard analysis and safe work practices.
  • Perform field safety inspections, accident/incident investigations, industrial hygiene assessments, and safety audits on active construction sites.
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports on safety activities.
  • Conduct safety orientations and training in small and large groups.
  • Mentor regional site safety professionals.
  • Attend construction meetings as necessary.
  • Meet with the HSE Operations Director regularly.
  • Manage safety coverage across the region in support of operations.
  • Perform additional assignments as required.

Requirements:

">
  • Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field.
  • 7+ years of field safety experience in heavy civil construction, transportation, or related field.
  • 2+ years of rail construction experience or ability to hold rail credentials.
  • Knowledge of general construction safety and health regulations, including OSHA.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Safety Management Specialist (SMS), or Certified Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certificate or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Maintenance of Traffic (MOT).
  • OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Office 365 productivity software.

Estimated Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per year based on location and industry standards.">
