Overview

Axon is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join our Federal team. This role will provide legal support and guidance to the Federal team, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and contracts.


Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience


About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and experience in drafting and negotiating transactions with the federal government. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the Federal team, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and contracts. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth in federal markets.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal support and guidance to the Federal team
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and contracts
  • Develop and implement policies, processes, and procedures for compliance with federal contracting requirements
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and People Operations teams

Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of corporate, transactional, and compliance experience in the federal space
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating transactions with the federal government
  • Deep understanding and experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • JD from an accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials
  • Admission to a State Bar within the United States
