About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team in San Diego. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-level project management duties from project inception through construction administration phases.

This role requires a dedicated spirit towards client satisfaction through service excellence, strong communication skills to communicate with clients, consultants, and project team members, and the ability to navigate through several jurisdictions for project requirements and permitting.

You will lead and mentor a team of junior staff members, collaborate and coordinate with in-house Interiors Department, and develop project design schedules, estimate project staffing requirements, monitor and manage project staff work loads, and manage projects of all sizes and levels of complexity.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Achieved architectural licensure required
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in design/project management, with a focus on design and construction documents on a wide range of project types
  • Leadership experience, including managing client expectations, multi-disciplinary teams, and meeting scope/schedule/budget
  • Advanced knowledge of the architectural planning and design process, construction documentation, construction administration, and code requirements
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp Modeling, MS Office, and MS Project
  • In-depth knowledge of presentation materials preparation and effective verbal and graphic communication
  • Experience working directly with clients to meet their needs and expectations
