Responsibilities
In this role, your primary duties will include:
- Assessing patients' physical abilities and creating personalized therapy plans to address mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
- Providing physical therapy treatments in a hospital environment for patients undergoing recovery, rehabilitation, or reconditioning.
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare specialists to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educating patients and their families on exercises, recovery expectations, and post-discharge care strategies.
- Utilizing various therapy techniques and equipment to help patients regain independence and confidence.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you must possess:
- A current Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, hospital protocols, and therapeutic equipment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
