Job Title: Manager, National Marketing & Communications

About the Role:

The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, National Marketing & Communications to join our team. As a key member of our national Marketing Communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing multi-channel communications that demonstrate the Foundation's impact and drive engagement among both consumer and healthcare professional audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement content strategies for online and offline communications channels, including print, web, social, digital, and video.
  • Write and edit press releases, blogs, and other content to showcase the Foundation's mission, programs, and impact.
  • Investigate and develop stories and narratives for digital and offline channels that resonate with patient and professional audiences.
  • Manage the Foundation's IBD Visible blog and implement a content strategy to engage audiences.
  • Own and maintain the editorial calendar to identify content opportunities and monitor effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of analytical data and translating metrics into meaningful content for audience segmentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, PR, marketing, or healthcare policy preferred.
  • 3+ years related experience in healthcare, either in-house or agency or non-profit.
  • Excellent writer and editor with a flair for creating impactful stories.
  • Strong project management skills and experience working with Asana.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong people and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PPT, Excel, Salesforce, and Asana.
