Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Clinical Care Coordinator (C3), you will provide essential registration support to streamline patient flow and offer non-clinical administrative assistance for center operations.

  • Facilitate the registration of direct admissions and hospital transfers to ensure timely bed placement and active patient accounts.
  • Monitor Intake Logistics for registration requests and act as a registration authority, addressing and rectifying any registration issues to maintain efficient patient flow.
  • Verify insurance eligibility for direct admissions and facility transfers, securing necessary authorizations when required.
  • Assist C3s with referrals, managing medical record documentation for post-acute patient placements to support timely discharges.
  • Provide administrative assistance to facility C3s as needed, managing registrations for discharge-readmit cases and updating bedded patient statuses.

Collaboration:
Engage actively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including primary nurses and nurse managers, to communicate potential admissions and facilitate system-wide planning through the Care Logistics software.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in regulatory programs, administrative roles, or patient scheduling/registration; an Associate degree or higher can waive the experience requirement.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, proficiency in computer applications, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Physical Requirements:
This role involves constant typing and clerical work, with occasional physical activities such as lifting and reaching.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is based on various factors, including qualifications and experience, with a minimum of USD $16.65 per hour and a maximum of USD $24.97 per hour.
