Job Summary:

Lone Star College-Kingwood is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Criminal Justice courses and promote student engagement in a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans to foster student learning and growth
  • Submit timely reports and forms to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Mentor and advise students to support their academic and professional development
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Criminology, Justice Studies, or a related field
  • 18 graduate hours in Criminology if Master's degree is in another field

Compensation and Benefits:

$51.75 per contact hour, tuition waiver, retirement plan, and professional development opportunities
