The Medical Assistant role in the Brain Tumor Center is a critical part of our team, providing essential support to our neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and radiation oncology providers.

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with patient care, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient screenings and treatments
  • Update patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and scheduling
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an approved medical assisting program or military training
  • Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience
  • Medical Assisting certification and Basic Life Support certification

Cleveland Clinic is committed to providing a tobacco-free and drug-free work environment. All new caregivers must clear a nicotine test within their 90-day new hire period.
