Salary and Benefits

Responsibilities

A successful Surgical Technologist will be responsible for facilitating the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Key duties include preparing the operating suite with sterile drapes and instruments, assisting surgeons during surgery, and maintaining accurate records of instrument counts.

  • Prepare the operating room with all necessary equipment and supplies
  • Ensure proper positioning and draping of patients
  • Assist surgeons with instrument handling and counting
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date
  • One or more of the following certifications: NCCT or NBSTSA
  • High School diploma equivalency or Associate's degree/Technical degree with relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist, particularly in trauma settings, is preferred but not required.
