About This Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lube Technician at Sonic Automotive. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to oil changes, brake and fluid services, and other general maintenance and repair work.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform oil changes efficiently and accurately, ensuring all vehicles are properly serviced and meet quality standards.
  • Assist with brake and fluid services, including inspections, replacements, and other related tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve service goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as automotive service or maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
