Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist radiologic technologists, residents, and radiologists in exam rooms and with guided interventional procedures.
  • Prepare and explain procedures to patients, adhering to departmental and hospital procedures.
  • Perform patient care and clerical duties, including managing patient flow, communicating with patients and staff, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in departmental projects and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care principles.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiology or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical terminology certification.
  • Previous experience with patient care software and electronic medical records.
