Abeona seeks a highly skilled System Administrator to oversee the implementation and maintenance of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) in our Cleveland, OH location.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience with LIMS configuration, validation, implementation, and system administration. A Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or Computer Science is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure LIMS systems are compliant with standards and organizational objectives
  • Perform installations, upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting of third-party packaged business applications
  • Develop installation and validation requirements, and integrate applications as needed
  • Manage user accounts and provide support for end-users
  • Implement monitoring, reporting, and alerting systems

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate with software developers, QA specialists, and other team members to ensure timely delivery of new software releases.

Qualifications:
  • BS in Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or Computer Science
  • 2-4 years related LIMS experience or other business applications: configuration, validation, implementation, and/or system administrator
  • Familiarity with IT systems in a Laboratory environment
  • Proficient in Windows environment

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, and includes benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Working Conditions:

This position requires occasional lifting up to 25 pounds and normal range of hearing and vision correctable to 20/20.
