Salary

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse with 1-2 years of experience in oncology or medical surgical tele/ortho acute care nursing. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients, collaborating with medical providers, and ensuring seamless transitions between shifts.

  • Assess patient conditions during admission and scheduled shifts, identifying and reporting changes in status.
  • Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in patient records.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating needs, and resolving them effectively.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A registered nurse license in Texas or a compact state.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • An Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
  • 1-2 years of oncology or medical surgical tele/ortho acute care nursing experience.
