Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Client Service Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and client management support to our financial counseling team
  • Assist with the preparation of account applications, asset-transfer forms, and client-specific requests
  • Communicate with custodians and initiate proactive follow-through on action points
  • Prepare and update financial schedules and analyses, client presentations, and client meeting agendas
  • Draft and process correspondence to clients and communicate with clients by telephone and email
  • Assist with income tax return preparation, scanning data, and sending copies of returns to clients
  • Interact with spreadsheet-driven reports for the wealth management team and clients
  • Maintain electronic and physical records and files in an orderly fashion and update client information into our databases
  • Prepare, generate, and deliver quarterly reports and assist with billing
  • Responsible for daily cash and position reconciliations of clients' accounts and investigation and resolution of any resulting exception items
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3+ years of administrative experience in financial or professional services, or an Associate's degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with brokerage or registered investment advisory firm operations
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Moderate understanding of investment products and investment operations is desired
  • Solid analytical skills and attention to detail and organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and proven ability to learn other software and technology
  • Notable attention to detail, self-initiated follow-through, and outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to juggle multiple and competing tasks and demands
