We're looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.

As a Speech Language Pathologist with VNA Health Group, you'll have the opportunity to work with patients in their homes or alternate community settings, providing speech and language therapy evaluation and treatment. You'll be responsible for assessing and evaluating clients for speech and language therapy needs, developing and implementing appropriate plans of action, and documenting all changes in client condition.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate clients for speech and language therapy needs
  • Develop and implement plans of action for speech and language therapy
  • Document all changes in client condition
  • Identify counseling needs and plan appropriate teaching strategies
  • Monitor quality and appropriateness of services provided
  • Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies
  • Adhere to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community-based experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid NJ driver's license

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors/outdoors, driving, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, fine motor hand movement, use of phone and tablet for documentation
