Job Summary

Mission Box Solutions is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including routine and advanced imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, utilizing proper technique and giving appropriate procedural instructions to patients.
  • Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and possible contraindications.
  • Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers, coordinating and prioritizing procedures during the workday to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
  • Assist Radiologists or other medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures, using equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
  • Ensure exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams being performed, and act to ensure compliance with Infection Control standards.
  • Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered.
  • Appropriately adapt to assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served.
  • Perform all duties in a manner that protects the confidentiality of patients and does not solicit or disclose any confidential information unless it is necessary in the performance of assigned job duties.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital.
  • Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required (Temporary permit required for new graduates).
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association).
