Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wheel Technician to join our team at IMCO Carbide Tool Inc. in Perrysburg, Ohio.

This is a full-time position in our Manufacturing department, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build wheel packs per specifications
  • Dress wheels and maintain equipment
  • Store, organize, and maintain wheel packs
  • Record wheel pack usage and provide reports as requested

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Prior experience not required, but mechanical aptitude and basic math skills are necessary
  • Ability to work with a diverse environment and communicate effectively
  • Reliable transportation required

Working Conditions:

The Wheel Technician will work primarily in a production area with moderate noise levels and climate control. Proper handling of wheels is necessary to prevent injury, and proper instruction, training, and PPE will be provided as needed.

Shift and Schedule:

We have a position available on the 4th shift, Friday - Sunday, 6:30a - 7:00p, with a beginning base rate of $17.00/hour and a $2.25 shift differential. Training will be on the 1st shift, Monday thru Thursday, 6:45a - 5:15p, and will last approximately 10-16 weeks.
