Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary physician for residents in skilled nursing facilities.
  • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for daily resident care.
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered primary care through regular patient rounds.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Complete documentation using Theoria's proprietary electronic health record system.
  • Utilize commonly used facility EHR systems for administrative tasks.
  • Participate in chronic care management and other quality initiatives.
  • Supervise and support Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
  • Effectively use electronic medical tools for documentation and administrative functions.

Shift Structure
  • Flexible shifts based on physician availability.
  • Attending physicians typically work 1-2 days per week at each facility.
  • Rounding times are adaptable, with no fixed start or end times.
  • No night or weekend shifts; call is managed by Theoria's virtual care team.
  • This is an in-person role.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Annual compensation ranges from $50,000 to $400,000 based on employment status.
