About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students' communication skills, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy services to students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, and develop recommendations for treatment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide training to parents and staff.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, interventions, and educational materials to minimize the adverse impact of communication disorders.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students, including instruction in the use of communication technologies such as hearing aids and augmentative communication devices.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, including progress reports, activity logs, and billing information.
Requirements
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency required.
