Electrical Team Supervisor for Power Grid Maintenance

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our power grid infrastructure in Lake Preston, SD. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, a thorough knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to work effectively with a team.
Job SummaryThe Electrical Team Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a crew of linemen and overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems. This includes framing and erecting poles, attaching fixtures and equipment, stringing and splicing conductors, and performing other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of linemen and ensure they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties safely and efficiently
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including poles, transformers, and other equipment
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with safety protocols
- Perform routine patrols to identify potential issues and prioritize repairs
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in electrical systems and experience working with linemen
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to climb and work at heights
- Ability to understand and operate mechanical equipment used in the trade
This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
